Europe’s cheapest city breaks in 2021 for Britons according to new post research that includes Budapest, Lisbon and Warsaw in new top 10

As travel restrictions continue to ease, we’re starting to look forward to planning vacations again.

Budapest, Lisbon and Warsaw are among the cheapest city breaks in Europe for Britons this fall.

New research from the Post has uncovered the 10 cheapest cities after comparing 40 destinations in terms of cost, including entrance fees to museums and attractions, a three-course meal and a two-night stay in a hotel 3 * of the city for two people. (It did not include flight prices, however).

City trip favorites such as Budapest and Lisbon were in the top 10, but Tirana in Albania took the crown with an average two-night stay for two people costing £ 132.41.

1. Tirana, Albania
